Ethics and Publication Policy

Purpose and Scope

• Gyanvividha is committed to maintaining high standards of academic quality, integrity, transparency and responsible scholarly communication. This policy protects the credibility of the publication process, strengthens public confidence and ensures that authors, reviewers, editors and other

contributors receive appropriate recognition for their work.

1. All manuscripts are managed in accordance with the journal’s editorial guidelines and established principles of publication ethics.
2. Responsibilities of Authors
3. Authors must submit original, accurate and ethically prepared manuscripts. A manuscript submitted to Gyanvividha must not have been previously published or be under consideration by another journal.

Authors are expected to:

1. Properly acknowledge and cite every source used in the manuscript.
2. Ensure that all listed authors have made meaningful contributions and approved the final manuscript.
3. Present research data, methods, findings and references accurately and transparently.
4. Disclose any financial, institutional or personal conflict of interest that may influence the research.
5. Obtain the necessary ethical approval, informed consent and institutional permission wherever applicable.
6. Promptly inform the journal if a significant error is identified before or after publication.

Double-Blind Peer Review

1. Every manuscript that successfully completes the preliminary editorial assessment is considered through a double-blind peer-review process. Authors’ identities are not disclosed to reviewers, and reviewers’ identities are not disclosed to authors.
2. Editorial decisions are based on the manuscript’s originality, academic quality, relevance, methodological soundness and reviewers’ recommendations.
3. Plagiarism and Research Integrity
4. Plagiarism includes presenting another person’s words, ideas, data or creative work as one’s own without appropriate acknowledgement or citation. Authors must ensure that every source used in their manuscripts is properly credited.
5. The journal uses appropriate plagiarism-detection software to evaluate submitted manuscripts. If plagiarism or another form of research misconduct is identified, the manuscript may be returned for clarification, rejected, corrected or retracted, depending on the nature and seriousness of the concern.
6. Repeated or serious violations may result in restrictions on future submissions following an appropriate editorial review. Any action will be taken fairly, transparently and with an opportunity for the author to provide an explanation.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively, constructively and confidentially. They should not directly alter the submitted manuscript but may recommend improvements relating to academic content, methodology, structure, language, clarity and grammar.

Reviewers are expected to:

• Provide impartial, evidence-based and constructive observations.
• Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and review reports.
• Submit their recommendations directly to the Editorial Board.
• Declare any conflict of interest before accepting a review assignment.
• Refrain from using unpublished information obtained through the review process for personal or professional benefit.
• Complete the review within the agreed period or promptly inform the journal if additional time is required.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for managing manuscripts fairly, independently, confidentially and within a reasonable period. Editorial decisions must be based on academic merit, relevance to the journal’s scope and compliance with its ethical requirements.

Editors shall:

• Protect the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts throughout the editorial process.
• Ensure that peer review is conducted objectively and without discrimination.
• Select reviewers with appropriate knowledge and experience.
• Manage conflicts of interest transparently and responsibly.
• Remain informed about current standards and good practices in scholarly publishing.
• Take appropriate steps when concerns relating to errors, plagiarism, authorship or research integrity are reported.
• Publish corrections, clarifications or retractions whenever necessary to preserve the accuracy of the scholarly record.

All members of the Editorial Board are expected to follow the journal’s ethics and publication policies and contribute to maintaining the quality and credibility of its published content.

Copyright and Publishing  Rights

1. Authors retain the copyright to their published articles while granting Gyanvividha a continuing, non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive and make the work available in any lawful format, medium or language.
2. Authors may share, reuse or republish their articles for legitimate academic and professional purposes, provided that the original publication in Gyanvividha is properly acknowledged with complete publication details and the relevant DOI or article link.
